HOW IT WORKS IN THREE STEPS
From connection
to withdrawal.
Explore each action separately. The images show how GuideGrip works.
01 · Dock
First, secure the catheter.
GuideGrip reaches the catheter connection in its open position. The first squeeze allows you to align the catheter without moving the guidewire.
The wheels remain apart.
The guidewire remains free.
02 · Engage
Then, engage the guidewire.
Squeezing further brings the two wheels towards each other and grips the guidewire.
The two wheels move towards each other.
The guidewire is held between the wheels.
03 · Retract
Withdraw together.
The guidewire stays in position while the catheter is withdrawn.
GuideGrip and the catheter move together.
The two wheels rotate in opposite directions.
THE MECHANICAL PRINCIPLE
Inside the device.
Through to the movement.
GuideGrip couples catheter withdrawal to a counter-motion of the internal wheel mechanism.
